Love Affair with Footwear: "Wings 2.0"

By Keisha Mitchell
Renowned Kansas born fashion designer Jeremy Scott teamed up with Adidas in 2008 to create one of the most innovative and genuinely conceptual sneaker series released stateside in years. Jeremy Scott for Adidas  is the origin of this sincerely fly pair of footwear by the sneaker company. Aptly titled "Wings 2.0, and featuring a black body  with contrasting gold stripes and (even better still), contrasting gold and black stitched wings, these shoes are worthy of Hermes himself.  Trust, few other sneaks make a statement as blatant as these. Priced at  $225 on FlightClubNYC.com, these shoes also happen to be as much of an investment as they are a statement on a tightly strung college budget. However, if you're feeling adventurous or have the extra dollars to spend, this is shoe purchase that pales in comparison to few.
P.S.; For those collectors who know how to keep their sneakers clean; did I mention the original pair of these are all white and almost ethereal a definite must have.
